Thanks for sharing. if we assume that the market went down to the put strike price then it is down by 9%. The portfolio would be down by 9% as well, which would be $90K. Whereas the hedge with 3 contracts brought only $750. How this can be a hedge. If it is $75K then I agree. Is your calculation correct? Why do we need the divisor 100? If it is 300 contracts, then you get $75K.

Thank you for sharing. Was taught that Long means Buy, and Credit is a selling transaction since we receive a credit for Selling the Spread. The trade portrayed in the video is clearly a credit spread but the video title reads ‘Long’ Iron Condor. Shouldn’t the title be ‘Short’ Iron Condor instead since you’re selling the iron condor for a credit? Wouldn’t a Long Iron Condor therefore be a Debit Spread not a Credit Spread?? What am I missing here? Thank you once more.

There is no question the seagull strategy is a good one... With that said, I only have one question - did you put the inverse strategy every time your indicator indicated overbought? One would have gotten killed a couple times... indicator should work both ways - cheers

Hi, I have a couple of questions. 1. If the stock is right at the strike price at the close of the market on the day of expiration of the front month; could you let the front month expire for the full profit? 2. Have you done calendar spreads on SPX or VIX or XSP? And/or is there more risk doing a calendar spread on VIX or SPX or XSP compared to normal equities like SPY?

What delta do you like to use for selling covered calls, while still earning a good premium?
